Located alongside the church of Santa Maria della Concezione, the Capuchin cemetery is an amazing if rather macabre location in which everything, from the picture frames to the candelabras, is made of human bones. Indeed, between 1528 and 1870 the capuchin monks used the bones of 4,000 deceased brothers to create this extremely strange and generally unnerving cemetery.
