Church of Santa Maria in Aracoeli

Description

Located at the top of the Capitoline hill next to Piazza del Campidoglio, the church of Santa Maria in Aracoeli dates back to the 7th century. Inside the church is decorated with 15th century frescoes by Pinturicchio and a statue of the Child Jesus.
