Church of St. Cross in Jerusalem

Description

Founded in 320 by Saint Helen, the mother of Constantine, the church houses a fragment of the cross, a nail, thorns from the crown and a finger of Saint Thomas brought back from Jerusalem on Helen’s return from a pilgrimage.
