Crypta Balbi National Roman Museum

Description

Home to an extremely interesting collection of urban Roman artifacts, this museum is located over the ruins of a number of medieval and renaissance buildings which were in turn built over the grandiose portico of the Theatre of Balbus (19 - 13 BC).
