Description
The perfect place for a lazy stroll, Via Giulia runs parallel to the River Tiber and is one of the few straight streets in Rome. Designed by Bramante on behalf of Pope Julius II, who wanted a new approach to Saint Peter’s church, Via Giulia is flanked with renaissance palazzos, antique shops, art galleries and several beautiful fountains.
