The apartment
It is located in Via dei Cimatori, close to the ancient and famous Via Giulia, in the heart of the historical centre of Roma, at the first floor of a small 17th century building. It is composed of a large living room with kitchenette, a double bedroom, and a bathroom with tub/shower.
The characteristic ceiling of wood-beams, the quiet of Roma's alleys, and the welcoming atmosphere of the house make it a romantic place for an original and very peaceful holiday.
The lodging can accommodate a maximum of five persons with two comfortable large single beds (cm 120 x 190) in the bedroom, a double sofa-bed and a roll-away bed placed in the living room. The apartment is fully furnished, including a fitted kitchen. A TV set and CD-stereo are available.
The apartment has been recently renewed. Pictures show a cosy and pleasant place, very quite during daytime and nighttime.
The accommodation allows the exclusive use of all the apartment. Another five people can be accommodated in the apartment AP01, next door (on the same landing). We will give tourist maps of the town and all the suggestions for a pleasant journey in Roma. As a request of the tourist we can make reservation for taxi, restaurants and guided tours.
How to get there:
From the
airport
Taxi service:
upon request a driver will pick
you up at the airports of Fiumicino
or Ciampino and drive you to your
apartment. The cost for this service
is of 47 Euro (up to 4 people).
You can request the service by
sending us an e-mail including
your flight details.
From Leonardo da Vinci
- Fiumicino airport,
take the city train to Stazione
Termini, from where you can either
take a taxi to the apartment or
the bus number 64 (be aware of
pickpockets in the
bus!) in the
direction of St.Peter’s
Church, stopping at Corso Vittorio
Emanuele, Largo Tassoni square
(four stops after Largo Argentina).
The stop is only 50 meters from
the apartment, Via dei Cimatori
is located on the opposite side
of Corso Vittorio Emanuele. The
total duration of the trip from
the airport to the apartment is
about 40 minutes by taxi and about
1 hour and 1/2 with train and
buses.
From Ciampino airport,
take the CO.TRA.L bus near the
Bus Arrivals to the “Anagnina”
underground station, from which
you should then take the underground
to Roma Termini station. From
here you can either take a taxi
to the apartment or the bus number
64 (be aware of pickpockets in
the bus!) in the direction of
St.Peter’s Church, stopping
at Corso Vittorio Emanuele, Largo
