The District

The apartment is located in the old popular Celio area, one the city’s most interesting districts, in which many real Romans still live, but also many foreigners, who are attracted by its picturesque features and central position.
The apartment is situated in the main archeological area, only 150 meters from the Colosseum!

There are many services in the district: characteristic wine shops (ancient wine bars), taverns where you can taste the Roman cuisine, Italian and International restaurants and an open fruit and vegetables market; but also laundries, photo shops, “call centers”, money exchanges, artisans, theatres, cinemas, a hospital, and a post office.

The apartment

A small and elegant attic with a terrace on the 7th floor (6 floors by elevator plus 1 flight of stairs) which looks out onto the roofs around the Colosseum.

The apartment, is furnished in modern style. It comprises a studio flat with a sleeping area with a double bed and a living area with a double sofa bed.

Equipped with color TV, a fully-equipped kitchenette and a bathroom with a shower box.
The apartment is equipped with an independent heating system, air conditioning and free WI FI Internet connection.

In addition, it has a lovely, flowered terrace where guests can have breakfast in the mornings in the shade of an umbrella or can dine in the summer evenings, enjoying Rome’s famous, cool, summer wind, the "Ponentino".

How to get there

From the airport

Taxi service

Upon request a driver will pick you up at the airports of Fiumicino or Ciampino and drive you to your apartment. You can request the service by sending us an e-mail including your flight details.

From Leonardo da Vinci - Fiumicino airport

Take the city train to Stazione Termini, from where you can take the underground-line B up to “Metro Colosseo” for a 1 hour ride. After getting out from the underground turn left, get over the Colosseo and go along via Labicana. Via Celimontana is the first street on the right.

From Ciampino airport, take the CO.TRA.L

Bus near the Bus Arrivals to the “Anagnina” underground station, from which you should then take the underground to Roma Termini station. From here you can take the underground-line B up to “Metro Colosseo” for a 1 hour ride. After getting out from the underground turn left, get over the Colosseo and go along via Labicana. Via Celimontana is the first street on the right.

From the train station

From the train station di Roma Termini you can get a taxi or take the underground-line B up to “Metro Colosseo” for a 10 minutes ride. After getting out from the underground turn left, get over the Colosseo and go along via Labicana. Via Celimontana is the first street on the right.

Great place to stay, a real "heaven" in this busy city, with beautiful views. The apartment was fantastic. We ate breakfast while enjoying the view over the entire city, how much better does it get? The place was clean and tidy, and immediately felt like home.

Dear owners,
we had a fantastic holiday in Rome. We have seen all the highlights and enjoyed the Roman atmosphere. Every evening we were exhausted and very glad we could return to "our" great appartment. It is a very agreeable place to stay and the terrace (and the sun every day) was superb!
