The district

The building is located in the most ancient and famous quarter of Roma, between Piazza Navona, Campo dei Fiori and St. Peter’s church.

We are a few steps far away from Castel S.Angelo and is close to the LungoTevere allowing an easy access by car (parking places are also available). The connections with the rest of the city are simple: many buses stops 50 meters away from the house and join to the main railway stations, to the Underground and to the commercial areas.

The Apartment

The apartment is located in Via dei Cimatori, close to the ancient and famous Via Giulia, in the heart of the historical centre of Roma, at the first floor of a small 17th century building.

The characteristic ceiling of wood-beams, the quiet of Roma's alleys, and the welcoming atmosphere of the house make it a romantic place for an original and very peaceful holiday.

The apartment is composed of two large rooms, kitchen and bathroom. The apartment has been recently renewed. Pictures show a cosy and pleasant place. In the bathroom the sink is built in a marble surface; there is a comfortable shower.

The lodging can accommodate a maximum of five persons with two comfortable sofa-beds (one doble and one single) in the lounge, together with a double bed (queen size) placed in a good sized bedroom. It is possible to prepare a single roll away bed for a 6th person.The apartment is fully furnished, including a fitted kitchen. There are also air conditioning, satellite TV set and CD-stereo.

The accommodation allows the exclusive use of all the apartment. Another five people can be accommodated in the apartment AP26, next door (on the same landing). We will give tourist maps of the town and all the suggestions for a pleasant journey in Roma. As a request of the tourist we can make reservation for taxi, restaurants and guided tours.

How to get there

From the airport

Taxi service

Upon request a driver will pick you up at the airports of Fiumicino or Ciampino and drive you to your apartment. You can request the service by sending us an e-mail including your flight details.

From Leonardo da Vinci - Fiumicino airport

Take the city train to Stazione Termini, from where you can either take a taxi to the apartment or the bus number 64 (be aware of pickpockets in the bus!) in the direction of St.Peter’s Church, stopping at Corso Vittorio Emanuele, Largo Tassoni square (four stops after Largo Argentina). The stop is only 50 meters from the apartment, Via dei Cimatori is located on the opposite side of Corso Vittorio Emanuele. The total duration of the trip from the airport to the apartment is about 40 minutes by taxi and about 1 hour and 1/2 with train and buses.

From Ciampino airport

Take the CO.TRA.L bus near the Bus Arrivals to the “Anagnina” underground station, from which you should then take the underground to Roma Termini station. From here you can either take a taxi to the apartment or the bus number 64 (be aware of pickpockets in the bus!) in the direction of St.Peter’s Church, stopping at Corso Vittorio Emanuele, Largo Tassoni square (four stops after Largo Argentina). The stop is only 50 meters from the apartment, Via dei Cimatori is located on the opposite side of Corso Vittorio Emanuele. The total duration of the trip from the airport to the apartment is about 40 minutes by taxi and about 1 hour and 1/2 with buses.

From the station

From Termini Station you can either take a taxi to the apartment or the bus number 64 (be aware of pickpockets in the bus!) in the direction of St.Peter’s Church, stopping at Corso Vittorio Emanuele, Largo Tassoni square (four stops after Largo Argentina). The stop is only 50 meters from the apartment, Via dei Cimatori is located on the opposite side of Corso Vittorio Emanuele. The total duration of the trip from the station to the apartment is about 15 minutes by taxi and about 1/2 hour by bus.

The weather was very rainy, but the warm and dry apartment was wonderful. We enjoyed having room to stretch, a kitchen for cooking, and a a pleasant location. The apartment service was helpful and attentive. It was fun to visit Rome while Christmas preparations were underway. There is always too much to do, too much to see. We'll just have to visit again!

I Just wanted to thank you all for the best assistance I could imagine !!! and especially Mr Antonio. He helped to find a solution for our stay in Rome just half day before our arrival. Even with only 12 hours notification he managed to find a greate options (right away when I call) and arranged our stay (first 3 nights in AP18 Cavour apartment and remaining 11 days in AP01 Via Giulia apartment). Both apartments we were offered were comfortable, clean, safe and located within historical areas of city. It felt like home :)
