Description

The district

The apartment is located in the Monti district, in Via Leonina (corner with Via Urbana), on the second floor. Monti is one of Rome’s most ancient districts.

In ancient times this is where the Roman Legions would be accommodated, while today, with its alleys and narrow winding streets, its is one of the most charming and picturesque areas of the city.

This is the heart of ancient Rome, just a few minutes’ walk away from the Colosseum and the Roman Forum.

You can easily walk around the historic centre from here or get about by public transport; there is an underground station only 20 metres away, while the Electric Bus n. 117, which will take you to the Spanish Steps and the via del Corso in a few minutes, stops nearby.

The apartment

It is a 20 sq. m. studio flat which can accommodate a maximum of 2 people.

It comprises a single room with a comfortable double sofa-bed (190X160 cm), a fully equipped kitchenette and a private bathroom with shower.

Equipped with air conditioning, satellite television, cd stereo system, independent heating, hairdryer.

Another two people can be accommodated in the AP05 COLOSSEO apartment next door (on the same landing).

How to get there

From the airport

Taxi service:

Upon request a driver will pick you up at the airports of Fiumicino or Ciampino and drive you to your apartment. You can request the service by sending us an e-mail including your flight details.

From Leonardo da Vinci - Fiumicino airport

Take the city train to Stazione Termini, from where you can take the underground-line B or bus number 75 or 204 up to “Metro Cavour” for a 1 hour ride. After getting out from the underground cross via Cavour and go down the stairs that will take you to Piazza della Suburra. The apartment is on the square, in via Leonina .

From Ciampino airport

Take the CO.TRA.L bus near the Bus Arrivals to the “Anagnina” underground station, from which you should then take the underground to Roma Termini station. From here you can take the underground-line B or bus number 75 or 204 up to “Metro Cavour” for a 1 hour ride. After getting out from the underground cross via Cavour and go down the stairs that will take you to Piazza della Suburra. The apartment is on the square, in via Leonina n° 43.

From the train station

From Termini Station you can get a taxi or take the underground-line B or bus number 75 or 204 up to “Metro Cavour” for a 10 minutes ride. After getting out from the underground cross via Cavour and go down the stairs that will take you to Piazza della Suburra. The apartment is on the square, in via Leonina n° 43.
