Description

The District

The apartment is located in a characteristic, quiet street near the river Tiber, Corso Vittorio and Via Giulia, in the heart of the old Roman city.

It is only 5 minutes’ walk away from Castel S.Angelo and St.Peter’s Church, Piazza Farnese, Pantheon and Campo dei Fiori.

The neighbourhood is well known for its handcrafted goods and antiques shops. It is also a historical and artistic centre of the city.

The apartment

A small apartment (43 sq. m.), on the second floor of an ancient building, without an elevator.
It has a fully-equipped and modern kitchen and a living-room, a spacious corner with two large windows and a double sofa-bed and equipped with LCD flat screen television.

There is also a single loft-bed. The apartment is equipped with TV, air conditioning, VCR, washer and dryer and a security door. Bed linen and towels are provided free-of-charge.

From the airport

Taxi service

Upon request a driver will pick you up at the airports of Fiumicino or Ciampino and drive you to your apartment.You can request the service by sending us an e-mail including your flight details.

From Leonardo da Vinci - Fiumicino airport

Take the city train to Stazione Termini, from where you can either take a taxi to the apartment or the bus number 64 (be aware of pickpockets in the bus!) in the direction of St.Peter’s Church, stopping at Corso Vittorio Emanuele, Largo Tassoni square (four stops after Largo Argentina). Go along Corso Vittorio towards piazza della Chiesa Nuova. Via del Pavone is the second street on the right.
The total duration of the trip from the airport to the apartment is about 40 minutes by taxi and about 1 hour and 1/2 with train and buses.

From Ciampino airport

Take the CO.TRA.L bus near the Bus Arrivals to the “Anagnina” underground station, from which you should then take the underground to Roma Termini station. From here you can either take a taxi to the apartment or the bus number 64 (be aware of pickpockets in the bus!) in the direction of St.Peter’s Church, stopping at Corso Vittorio Emanuele, Largo Tassoni square (four stops after Largo Argentina). Go along Corso Vittorio towards piazza della Chiesa Nuova. Via del Pavone is the second street on the right.
The total duration of the trip from the airport to the apartment is about 40 minutes by taxi and about 1 hour and 1/2 with buses.

From the train station

From Termini Station you can either take a taxi to the apartment or the bus number 64 (be aware of pickpockets in the bus!) in the direction of St.Peter’s Church, stopping at Corso Vittorio Emanuele, Largo Tassoni square (four stops after Largo Argentina). Go along Corso Vittorio towards piazza della Chiesa Nuova. Via del Pavone is the second street on the right.
The total duration of the trip from the station to the apartment is about 15 minutes by taxi and about 1/2 hour by bus.

Ce petit mot pour vous dire que nous avons regagné la France à regret. Notre séjour romain s'est remarquablement déroulé et ces 11 jours ont filé à toute vitesse.

A une prochaine fois pour une escale longue durée à Rome dans l'un des appartements que vous proposez à la location mais il faut dire que l?appartement de la Via del Pavone est tellement agréable que nous aurons du mal à en choisir un autre.

Esta es la segunda vez que estamos en Roma y sin lugar a dudas no serà la ultima.
La primera vez estuvimos en un hotel, nada comparable a estar en un estupendo apartamento como este. Acogedor, limpio y lo suficientemente grande para una pareja, incluso para tres personas.
