The district

Between the beautiful park of Colle Oppio and the Palatino, you will be immersed in the most suggestive part of Rome: the Colisseum, the Imperial Forums, the Basilica of St. John Lateran and the splendid Domus Aurea (the Golden House). Slightly farther is the Ancient Via Appia, the Circus Maximus, and the Baths of Caracalla, but in only a few minutes you can also reach the Trevi fountain, the Spanish steps, St. Peter’s basilica, Castel S. Angelo and... all those characteristic corners of ancient Rome that will make your stay in the eternal city something you will never forget.

The apartment

At the foot of the Colosseum and in the historical centre of Rome, there is a quiet apartment waiting to fulfil your desire for a holiday, for rest and for fun. The apartment is an elegantly furnished 80 sq.m. space and can welcome from 2 to 7 people, with the possibility of adding a sixth bed.

It’s position is enviable: 300 metres from the Colosseum and the Roman Forum and from the beautiful Colle Oppio park; and from here you can easily reach the other areas of the historical centre on foot or, as an alternative, by bus and tram that conveniently stop in front of our building, or if you prefer, by Metro at the nearby stops of Manzoni (line A) or Colosseo (line B).

From the entranceway a corridor leads first to the ample living room (equipped with radio and SKY TV) and then to the two bedrooms. The bathroom has recently and totally been renewed. The large and welcoming kitchen is entirely furnished. The apartment is equipped with air conditioning, telephone, PC with free internet access, washing machine..

The stay includes: exclusive use of the entire apartment, weekly changes of bed and bath linens, initial and final cleaning of the apartment, 24 hours assistance

How to get there

From the airport

Taxi service

Upon request a driver will pick you up at the airports of Fiumicino or Ciampino and drive you to your apartment. You can request the service by sending us an e-mail including your flight details.
From Leonardo da Vinci - Fiumicino airport, take the city train to Stazione Termini, from where you can either take a taxi to the apartment, or take the underground-line A to "Manzoni" or bus number 204 up to Via Labicana. After getting out from the underground you will be in Via Labicana, only 200 meters from the apartment, located at number 80 on the same road. The trip by train + taxi or bus takes about 1 hour.

From Ciampino airport

Take the CO.TRA.L bus near the Bus Arrivals to the “Anagnina” underground station, from which you should then take the underground to Roma Termini station. From here you can either take a taxi to the apartment, or take the underground-line A to "Manzoni" or bus number 204 up to Via Labicana. After getting out from the underground you will be in Via Labicana, only 200 meters from the apartment. The trip by train + taxi or bus takes about 1 hour and 1/2.

L'appartement est trés spacieux et trés calme, toutes les fenêtres donnent sur des cours intérieures. Trés bien équipé autant du coté de la cuisine que de la salle de bain ou des chambres. (cependant un verou à la salle de bain serait appréciable) L'arret de métro le plus proche est à 10 minutes à pied à coté du Colisée. Magnifique! Pas trés loin du colisée, il y a aussi une superette ouverte le dimanche entier (c'est toujours bon à savoir) En plus, le propriétaire est très sympathique! Grazie!

Un lugar muy tranquilo a un paso de Coliseo. Con autobuses y tiendas a la puerta y el metro muy cerca (en el Coliseo). Muy bién equipado. Tiene ordenador con internet, aire acondicionado, calefación. Fuimos 2 matrimonios con 4 niñas, durante 3 noches.

Huge apartment very close to the Coliseum. Great value, near to market, restaurants and many tourist attractions. Gracious host, will arrange for taxi pick ups and other needs. Very quiet building. Air conditioning works great. Washing machine and a computer with cable internet was a bonus. two bedrooms plus two comfortable pull out sofa beds. Highly recommend this apartment.

This is a fantastic apartment in an excellent location. It is spacious and clean and centrally located. It has a huge kitchen, big bedrooms, and all the beds were very comfortable. The owner was very friendly and helpful, and recommended an excellent place to eat. We stayed a very short time, but recommend you stay a least a week to see all there is to see in the area. It is a short walk to the Colesium, and to the Metro station. It is very easy to get around the city. We highly recommend this property to others who are planning a trip to Rome!

We were very impressed by the services offered by Roman Holiday - in arranging the taxi from the Airport to the accommodation, the apartment was in an excellent location, and the accommodation itself exceeded our expectations. It was a home from home experience. We were able to stay for a little longer on the Sunday (we had a late flight) and this provided us with the opportunity to explore further on the day.

Ci siamo trovati molto bene, l'appartamento è situato vicino al Coloseo quindi molto comodo per raggiungere poi tutta la città, l'abbiamo trovato pulito e comodo anche per otto persone .
