Description

The district

This charming, renovated apartment is situated in the Monti area, in Rome's historical centre. Many places of historical and architectural interest are concentrated in the Monti area, including the Colosseum, the Imperial Forums, the church of San Clemente, the Basilicas of St John Lateran and Santa Maria Maggiore, the Caracallan Baths and many others.

If you would like to relax and enjoy nature, there are many parks in the vicinity and the apartment is just a stone's throw away from the delightful park of Villa Celimontana, which from mid-June to the end of August hosts a prestigious jazz festival featuring internationally-renowned musicians.

The Colosseum, St John Lateran and the Caracallan Baths are a mere 5/10-minutes’ walk away. Alternatively, you can take buses directly to the ancient Roman sites or the city centre (5-10 minutes).

The apartment

This 60 sq. m. apartment can accommodate up to 5 people and comprises:
-a double bedroom
-a living room with sofa-bed (containing 2 comfortable single beds)
-a large kitchen with dishwasher.
-a large bathroom with bath, shower, washing-machine and hair-dryer.

The bedroom is the only room equipped with air conditioned. The whole apartment is centrally-heated in winter.

From the airport

Taxi service

Upon request a driver will pick you up at the airports of Fiumicino or Ciampino and drive you to your apartment. You can request the service by sending us an e-mail including your flight details.

From Leonardo da Vinci - Fiumicino airport

Take the city train to Stazione Termini, from where you can take the bus number 714 toward “Colombo” for 8 stops up to “Largo Amba Aradam” for a 1 hour ride. From here go along Via dell’Amba Aradam up to piazza Porta Metronia and after a short distance you’ll find Via dei Valeri on the right.

From Ciampino airport

Take the COTRAL bus near the Bus Arrivals to the “Anagnina” underground station, from which you should then take the underground to Roma Termini station. From here you can take the bus number 714 toward “Colombo” for 8 stops up to “Largo Amba Aradam” for a 1 hour ride. From here go along Via dell’Amba Aradam up to piazza Porta Metronia and after a short distance you’ll find Via dei Valeri on the right.

From the train station

From Termini Station you can take the bus number 714 toward “Colombo” for 8 stops up to “Largo Amba Aradam” for a 1 hour ride. From here go along Via dell’Amba Aradam up to piazza Porta Metronia and after a short distance you’ll find Via dei Valeri on the right 150 m.
