Description

The district

The apartment is located in Via Merulana, on the second floor of a elegant 19th century palazzo, just a few metres from the cathedral of St John Lateran (from which it takes its name) which can be seen from the window of the living room. The Colosseum and the Imperial Forum as well as the famous Basilica of St. Mary Major can all be reached in just a few minutes on foot.

The spacious 150 square metre flat is simply but tastefully furnished. Each room is decorated in a different colour or a combination of several colours which gives the apartment a delightfully personal feel.

The flat is ideal for visitors wishing to spent an unforgettable holiday just a stone's throw from the heart of ancient Rome but without renouncing the comfort of a truly spacious home.

The flat is perfectly positioned for visiting the archeological area of the Imperial Forum, but far enough out of the centre to avoid awkward traffic restrictions. Thus car drivers can drive right up to the front door. The area is also well served by public transport.

The apartment

The apartment is made up of a living room with double sofa bed, three double bedrooms with ample storage space for suitcases, a large kitchen, two bathrooms, one with shower and the other with bath. The kitchen is fully equipped. The flat also has an autonomous heating system.

The flat is furnished with bed linen and towels, TV, washing machine, microwave, fridge and freezer, iron and ironing board and free WI FI Internet access.

The flat can accommodate up to ten people in 3 bedrooms and the living room. Some rollaway beds can be added if needed.

At the arrival a deposit of Euro 150 is required, which will be returned at the end of the stay except in case of any damage caused to the flat. This is a non smoking apartment.

From the airport

Taxi service

Upon request a driver will pick you up at the airports of Fiumicino or Ciampino and drive you to your apartment. You can request the service by sending us an e-mail including your flight details.

From Leonardo da Vinci - Fiumicino airport

Take a taxi to the flat or the metropolitan railway to Termini station. From here take the N° 714 buses (to PALAZZO SPORT) and alight after five stops and the Merulana / Labicana bus stop. The flat is just a few metres away in Via Merulana. Alternatively, from Termini station take the Linea A underground to "Manzoni" station, walk approximately 200 metres along Viale Manzoni to the crossroads with Via Merulana. From Termini station takes about 20 min by bus or 10 min. by taxi. The journey from the airport by taxi takes approximately 40 minutes, by train and bus or underground is takes approximately one hour and a half.

From Ciampino airport

Take the COTRAL bus near the Bus Arrivals to the “Anagnina” underground station, from which you should then take the underground to Roma Termini station. From here take the N° 714 buses (to PALAZZO SPORT) and alight after five stops and the Merulana / Labicana bus stop. The flat is just a few metres away in Via Merulana. Alternatively, from Termini station take the Linea A underground to "Manzoni" station, walk approximately 200 metres along Viale Manzoni to the crossroads with Via Merulana. From Termini station takes about 20 min by bus or 10 min. by taxi.

From the train station

Tout s'est bien déroulé! Bravo pour votre organisation. Les taxis étaient à l'heure et nous avons pu les recontacter pour le retour.
L'appartement ne nous a pas déçus. Il est vraiment très bien, spacieux et bien placé. Les propriétaires ont été très cool concernant les heures d'arrivée et le départ. Merci à eux!
