Description

The district

Located right in the centre of the city, on the Esquiline hill, the highest and largest of the seven hills upon which ancient Rome was built, the apartment is situated in an area which is currently the focus of an extensive redevelopment project. Indeed, stretching from the Colosseum to Termini Railway station, the Esquilino area is one of the most cosmopolitan and multicultural areas of the city, an area to which a new concentration of young artists has given great vitality and life.
The Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, Via Nazionale, the Colosseum, the Imperial Forum, the Capitoline, Palazzo Massimo alle Terme and the Basilica of San Pietro in Vincoli can all be easily reached on foot, while the fact that Vittorio Emanuele underground station lies just a few minutes walk from the apartment means the Spanish Steps, Saint Peter’s Church and the Vatican Museums can all be reached with ease.

The apartment

Located on the second floor of a typical late 19th century palazzo, (with lift), the apartment is composed of a large air-conditioned living room furnished with a round, extendable dining table, a double sofa bed (160 cm x 190 cm) and a fully furnished kitchenette with fridge, gas hob, dishwasher, traditional oven and microwave oven, an air-conditioned master bedroom with a double bed and en suite bathroom with shower, a second bedroom with two single beds which may be joined together to form a double bed, a third bedroom furnished with a single bed (to which another single bed may be added on request) and a second bathroom fitted with shower.
Using the double sofa bed in the sitting room, the apartment can sleep up to 8 people.
The apartment is furnished with TV LCD flat screen, washing machine, iron and ironing board.

The apartment also has a free wi-fi Internet connection.

How to get there

From the airport

Taxi service

Upon request a driver will pick you up at the airports of Fiumicino or Ciampino and drive you to your apartment.You can request the service by sending us an e-mail including your flight details.

From Leonardo da Vinci - Fiumicino airport

Take the light railway to Termini Station. Take the Piazza dei Cinquecento exit from the station and turn left into Via Cavour. Take the first road on the left, Via G.Amendola which after a few metres becomes Via Filippo Turati.

From Ciampino airport

Take the CO.TRA.L. bus service from outside the Arrivals Hall towards "Anagnina" underground station and then the underground service to Roma Termini. From Roma Termini station take the Piazza dei Cinquecento exit from the station and turn left into Via Cavour. Take the first road on the left, Via G.Amendola which after a few metres becomes Via Filippo Turati.

We really liked the apartment! It's perfectly suitable for sightseeing because of its location.
The beds over here are awesome. I can sleep for like 24 hours in a row in these comfortable soft babys.
Another sweet thing are the two bathrooms.
