The area

The apartment is located in the heart of ancient Rome in via Merulana, and connects the Basilicas of St. Mary Major and St. John Lateran. The area is alive and full of shops and markets.

With a short walk it is possible to reach the area of the Coliseum and the Mercati Traianei and the Imperial forum historical sites. A short pleasant walk will also take you into Via Nazionale, one of Rome's best renowned streets for shopping.

The apartment

The 80 sqm apartment is on the 3rd floor of a twentieth century building (there's an elevator). It was recently renovated and consists of one hallway, a large living room, two bedrooms (one with double bed and another with two single beds), two bathrooms, one liveable kitchen.

The living room can accommodate three persons in a double sofa bed and in a single bed, the second bedroom can accommodate up to three persons in a double bed and a single bed, the third bedroom has two single beds. Eight persons can easily be lodged.

The two bathrooms are supplied respectively with shower and bathtub/shower. The kitchen is wide and fully equipped for cooking.

The flat also has an autonomous heating system. Every room is decorated with creative abstract art drawings, painted by the owner, who has cared for the whole apartment furnishing, TV SAT in the living room, stereo-cd player, washing machine, dishwasher, traditional oven, fridge and freezer, iron and iron boarder are on tap to the guests.

How to get there

From the airport

Taxi service

Upon request a driver will pick you up at the airports of Fiumicino or Ciampino and drive you to your apartment. You can request the service by sending us an e-mail including your flight details.

From Leonardo da Vinci - Fiumicino airport

Take a taxi to the flat or the metropolitan railway to Termini station. From here take the N° 714 bus (direction PALAZZO DELLO SPORT) and alight after five stops at the Merulana / Labicana bus stop. The flat is just a few metres along Via Merulana. Alternatively, not past 9.00 p.m. from Termini station take the Linea A underground to "Manzoni" station, walk approximately 200 metres along Viale Manzoni to the crossroads with Via Merulana. From Termini station this will take about 20 min by bus or 10 min. by taxi. The journey from the airport takes approx. 40 minutes by taxi, one hour and a half by train and bus or underground.

From Ciampino airport

Take the CO.TRA.L bus near the Bus Arrivals to the “Anagnina” underground station, from which you should then take the underground to Roma Termini station (not past 9.00 p.m). From here take the N° 714 buses (direction PALAZZO SPORT) and alight after five stops and the Merulana / Labicana bus stop. The flat is just a few metres away in Via Merulana. Alternatively, not past 9.00 p.m from Termini station take the Linea A underground to "Manzoni" station, walk approximately 200 metres along Viale Manzoni to the crossroads with Via Merulana. From Termini station it will take you approx. 20 min by bus, 10 min. by taxi.

From the train station

From Termini Station take the N° 714 bus (direction PALAZZO SPORT) and alight after five stops and the Merulana / Labicana bus stop. The flat is just a few metres away in Via Merulana. Alternatively, not past 9.00 p.m. from Termini station take the Linea A underground to "Manzoni" station, then walk approximately 200 metres along Viale Manzoni to the crossroads with Via Merulana.

I Just wanted to thank you all for the best assistance I could imagine !!! and especially Mr Antonio. He helped to find a solution for our stay in Rome just half day before our arrival. Even with only 12 hours notification he managed to find a greate options (right away when I call) and arranged our stay (first 3 nights in AP18 Cavour apartment and remaining 11 days in AP01 Via Giulia apartment). Both apartments we were offered were comfortable, clean, safe and located within historical areas of city. It felt like home :)
