The Area

The apartment complex is located on the first floor of an elegant palazzo in Via Vicenza in the Castro Pretorio area of Rome, close to the Italian National Library and not far from Roma Termini railway station, a fundamental point of interchange and, following its renovation in the Jubilee Year of 2000, one of Rome’s most important architectural features. Combining a mixture of classical and modern architectural styles, the station complex includes two underground stations (Linea A and Linea B), a bus terminal whose numerous bus services connect the station directly to the rest of the city and a shopping centre with a chemists’, three late-night supermarkets and a whole range of retail outlets and service suppliers.
The area is also home to some of the finest examples of renaissance and baroque architecture in Rome. Indeed, in the immediate neighborhood it is possible to visit Michelangelo’s church of Santa Maria degli Angeli and the delightful church of Santa Maria della Vittoria in which Bernini’s famous and enigmatic work of art The Ecstasy of Saint Theresa is displayed, while Via Nazionale and Piazza Venezia are also both within easy walking distance.
Finally, visitors looking for a moment of true sweetness, should visit Dagnino, the Sicilian patisserie just behind Piazza della Repubblica.

The Apartments

Quiet and comfortable, the 120 m² apartment complex is located on the first floor (with lift) of a historic palazzo and is composed of two independent apartments (A and B) sharing a common entrance. The apartment complex is able to sleep up to a total of 10 people. The apartments are furnished with a carefully blended mixture of antique and modern furniture. Indeed the antique wardrobes and bedside tables contrast beautifully with the modern fittings of the kitchenette and black tiled flooring of the smaller of the two apartments.
The apartments are heated by an autonomous central heating system while a boiler provides a constant supply of hot water. Both bed and bath linen are provided.
On arrival, guests will be required to pay a deposit of Euro 150 which will be returned at the end of their stay less the cost of any damage to the apartments.
Prices listed are considered per 1 apartment sleeping up to 6 people and per both apartments sleeping from 7 to 10 people.

Groups of up to four people will be invited to stay in Apartment A, while groups of 5-6 people will be allocated Apartment B. Groups of 7 or more people will be expected to rent both apartments. On request and payment of a surcharge, it is possible to change apartments allocation.

Apartment A

Composed of one double bedroom (beds may be separated), a bathroom with shower, a large bright sitting room with kitchenette and a double sofa bed (160X190 cm), the apartment sleeps up to a maximum of 4 people. The kitchenette is fully equipped with fridge and microwave oven. Both the sitting and the bedroom are fitted with air conditioning systems.

Apartment B

Quiet and sunny, this apartment is composed of a double bedroom with air conditioning, a second bedroom with two single beds, two bathrooms with shower and a large sitting room with kitchenette, dining area and double sofa bed (140X190 cm). The apartment also has a delightful terrace overlooking Via Vicenza, while the inner windows overlook a courtyard planted with the typical wild orange trees of early 20th century Roman gardens. The apartment sleeps up to 6 people.

How to get there

From the airport

Taxi service

Upon request a driver will pick you up at the airports of Fiumicino or Ciampino and drive you to your apartment. You can request the service by sending us an e-mail including your flight details.

From Leonardo da Vinci - Fiumicino airport

Take the city train to Stazione Termini. Get out from the station towards via Marsala; once on via Marsala, turn left and walk approximately 50 meters until you reach the intersection with via Vicenza. All together, it’s no longer than a five minutes walk!

From Ciampino airport

Take the CO.TRA.L bus near the Bus Arrivals to the “Anagnina” underground station, from which you should then take the underground to Roma Termini station. Get out from the station towards via Marsala; once on via Marsala, turn left and walk approximately 50 meters until you reach the intersection with via Vicenza. All together, it’s no longer than a five minutes walk!
