The district

The Trastevere District is characterised by the lively night-life. Its medieval small roads in whichyou can breath the authentic popular mood exalted by poets like Belli and Trilussa, contain restaurants, cafes, and piano bar, but also owns plenty of high artistic value monuments like the churches of Santa Maria in Trastevere endowed with the most important medieval mosaics of Rome, Santa Cecilia, San Crisogono, the ancient San Cosimato hospital with its Claustrum besides the principles palaces Corsini, the Farnesina with the Raffaello paintings, the botanical garden, the several libraries and art galleries.

The apartment is located in Viale Trastevere, just a short walk from the church of Santa Maria in Trastevere. Also within walking distance, but on the opposite side of the River Tiber, which can be crossed using Ponte Garibaldi, lie some of the most beautiful spots in Rome: Piazza Farnese, Campo dei Fiori, the Pantheon, the Jewish quarter, the Campidoglio and Piazza Navona. Saint Peter’s church is only a 15 minute walk away.

The area is extremely well served by public transport with a state-of-the-art tram line (N° 8) running to both Largo Argentina and Trastevere Station (for trains to Fiumicino airport).

The apartment

Located on the 4th floor (with lift), the bright, recently restructured and refurnished flat is composed as follows:
• double bedroom
• triple bedroom (1 single bed + one set of two bunk beds)
• twin bedroom (two beds cm 120x190)
• sitting room with double sofa bed (cm 160x190)
• fully equipped kitchen
• 2 bathrooms with shower
• 3 balconies

The double and twin bedrooms as well as the kitchen are all extremely spacious. The kitchen is fitted with a rectangular table with seating for up to 8 people, while there is a another 8-seater table in the sitting room. One of the two sofas in the sitting room unfolds into a double sofa bed.

All the wiring systems in the flat have recently been refitted to approved standards.
The apartment can sleep up to 9 people and is fitted with SKY TV, washing machine, dishwasher and air conditioned with the temperature of each room being controlled separately.
Bed and bath linen are supplied.

How to get there

From the airport

Taxi service

Upon request a driver will pick you up at the airports of Fiumicino or Ciampino and drive you to your apartment. You can request the service by sending us an e-mail including your flight details.

From Leonardo da Vinci - Fiumicino airport

Take the light railway service to Trastevere station and then Tram N° 8 towards ARGENTINA. After 4 stops alight at “TRASTEVERE/MIN.P.ISTRUZIONE”, cross Viale Trastevere .

From Ciampino airport

Take the CO.TRA.L. bus service from outside the Arrivals Hall towards "Anagnina" underground station and then the underground service to Roma Termini. From Roma Termini station take Bus H towards DEI CAPASSO. After 6 stops, alight at “TRASTEVERE/MIN.P.ISTRUZIONE”, cross Viale Trastevere .

From the train station

From Termini Station take Bus H towards DEI CAPASSO. After 6 stops, alight at “TRASTEVERE/MIN.P.ISTRUZIONE”, cross Viale Trastevere

Appartement spacieux, confortable, bien situè, très bien équipé. Rome est une capitale magnifique, avec des sites exceptionnels. Les amateurs de l'histoire seront enchantés. Hemos pasado unos días muy lindos, de los cuales tendremos los mejores recuerdos por mucho tiempo. Es nuestro primer viaje a Roma pero seguro no será el ultimo.
El apartamento es super cómodo, pero para que todo esto funciona tiene detrás un buen equipo. Mil gracias a toda esa gente que labora en esta empresa, que hace de nuestra estancia la "mejor".

My family appreciated our central home base at the Mastai apartment and found it clean, roomy and comfortable. It was easy to get anywhere in Rome and even made it easy to have a car for a couple of days for trips south.
But I am most impressed with the staff of Rome-Accommodation. We would normally expect just a person to open the door and explain the amenities. Instead, we got a very nice tour of the apartment and idea of surrounding services from Cristiano. But the staff went above and beyond when we accidentally locked my grandmother's passport in the apartment on our departure. They were able to get someone out before regular office hours to get us back inside. We made our flight and the agency staff saved an otherwise wonderful vacation.
