The Area

One of modern day Rome’s most popular meeting points and an obligatory stop for visitors to the Italian capital, the Spanish Steps mark the centre of Rome’s famous shopping triangle, the area between Piazza Venezia, Via Veneto and Piazza del Popolo, in which some of the world’s most exclusive fashion boutiques jostle for space alongside high street chains and the workshops of highly skilled artisans.
However, although the area is crowded with bargain hunters and fashionistas by day, in the evening the area is quiet and romantic as the square fills with youngsters looking to spend a peaceful evening together in one of the most delightful corners of the city.
The apartment is located in one of the most elegant palazzos in the area, a recently renovated building situated next to the GAGOSIAN GALLERY, the Roman branch of the famous New York art gallery.
The apartment also lies just a short distance from both Barberini and Spagna underground stations (Linea A).

The Apartment

Located on the third floor of an elegant palazzo (with lift) in the centre of Rome, this large spacious apartment overlooks an inner courtyard, thus ensuring that its guests remain completely undisturbed by noise at night.
All the rooms are elegantly furnished and fitted with all mod cons.
The sitting room has two sofas, a dining table and satellite television and is decorated with numerous paintings. Indeed the considerable number of paintings with which the apartment is decorated gives the whole flat an intimate, familiar atmosphere.
Both the spacious bedrooms are fitted with double beds.
The bathroom is fitted with a bathtub.
The kitchenette is equipped with dishwasher, oven, washing machine and everything necessary to prepare and eat meals at home.
The apartment can sleep four guests without having to use sofa bed facilities in common areas, although, if necessary, a fifth person may sleep on the sofa bed in the sitting room.
Our AP37 SPAGNA DELUXE 1 and AP38 SPAGNA DELUXE 2 apartments, which can sleep up to 8 and up to 4 people respectively, are also located in the same palazzo. It is thus possible for groups or families who wish to visit Rome together whilst nevertheless retaining their independence and privacy to rent two or all three of these apartments together.
All the rooms are fitted with air conditioning.
A ramp at the entrance to the palazzo enables access by disabled persons.

How to get there

From the airport

Taxi service

On prior request, a driver will be sent to collect you from either Fiumicino or Ciampino airport and accompany you directly to the apartment. In order to request this service, please send an e-mail containing the details of your flight (airline, flight number, time of arrival, etc.).

From Leonardo Da Vinci Airport (Fiumicino)

It is possible to take a taxi straight to the apartment with the journey lasting approximately 45 minutes. Alternatively it is possible to take the light railway service from the airport to Roma Termini railway station and then either a taxi to the apartment or Bus 175 for 7 stops alighting at TRITONE/FONTANA TREVI bus stop which lies approximately 100 metres from the apartment. Similarly from Roma Termini railway station it is possible to take the underground (Line A) for 2 stops alighting at “Barberini” station and then walking along Via del Tritone as far as the junction with Via Crispi. The train+ taxi/bus/metro journey takes approximately 1 hour.

From Ciampino airport

Take the CO.TRA.L. bus service from the bus stop outside the Arrivals Hall to "Anagnina" underground station and then the underground railway to Roma Termini station and then either a taxi to the apartment or Bus 175 for 7 stops alighting at TRITONE/FONTANA TREVI bus stop which lies approximately 100 metres from the apartment. Similarly from Roma Termini railway station it is possible to take the underground (Line A) for 2 stops alighting at “Barberini” station and then walking along Via del Tritone as far as the junction with Via Crispi.

From the train station

From Roma Termini railway station

Take either a taxi to the apartment or Bus 175 for 7 stops alighting at TRITONE/FONTANA TREVI bus stop which lies approximately 100 metres from the apartment. Similarly from Roma Termini railway station it is possible to take the underground (Line A) railway service for 2 stops, alighting at “Barberini” station and then walking along Via del Tritone as far as the junction with Via Crispi. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes.

By Car

The apartment is located within the restricted traffic area (ZTL - Zona a Traffico Limitato). Guests wishing to drive up to the apartment should click here www.atac.roma.it for information regarding the area covered by the ZTL scheme and the hours in which it is possible to access the city centre. Parking is available in Ludovisi underground car park in Villa Borghese just a short walk from the apartment.
