The area

Located close to Campo de’ Fiori, the square overlooked by the famous statue of Giordano Bruno in which the most famous fruit and vegetable market in Rome is held every morning, the apartment is also perfectly situated for visiting Piazza Navona, the square famous for Gian Lorenzo Bernini’s Fountain of Four Rivers, a statue personifying the four main rivers of the world. Opposite the fountain stands the church of Sant’Agnese, designed by Bernini’s arch-rival Francesco Borromini. According to legend, the statue of the River Plate has its arm raised in order to protect its face in the event that the church should collapse while the statue of the River Nile is shading its eyes in order to avoid looking at the church.
The labyrinth of lanes branching out from these two squares are perfect for discovering unexpected glimpses of city life: the antiques’ shops of Via dei Coronari; the craft and book shops of Via del Pellegrino and the vintage clothes’ shops of Via del Governo Vecchio.
In addition all the places of greatest interest in Rome are within easy walking distance of the apartment: Saint Peter’s church, Castel Sant’Angelo, the Pantheon and the Imperial forum as well as numerous museums and churches.

The apartment

Located in the heart of the city, just a stone’s throw from the most beautiful squares in Rome (Piazza Navona and Campo de’ Fiori), this roomy apartment is located on the 1st floor of an elegant late 19th century palazzo whose windows overlook Corso Vittorio Emanuele and from which it is possible to see the church of San Pantaleo, Rome Baroque Museum and Palazzo Braschi.
The apartment is composed of a large sitting room furnished with two sofas, a large bookcase and a wooden dining table, four bedrooms - of which three are furnished with double beds and one is furnished with twin single beds – and a fully equipped kitchen fitted with dishwasher and oven. One of the double bedrooms has an en suite bathroom with Jacuzzi, while the other bathroom is fitted with a Jacuzzi shower. The beds of the twin bedroom, which has been decorated with the younger members of the family in mind, may be joined together in order to create a double bed. Two of the bedrooms are fitted with air conditioning.

The apartment is equipped with a washing machine, DVD player, SKY TV, double glazed windows, autonomous heating and a free WI FI internet connection.

The terracotta floors, the oriental rugs and the high quality furnishings with which the apartment is furnished lend the apartment an elegant yet extremely comfortable atmosphere.

On arrival, guests staying in this apartment will be requested to pay a deposit of €300 which will be returned on conclusion of their stay less the cost of any damage caused to the apartment.

Upon request a driver will pick you up at the airports of Fiumicino or Ciampino and drive you to your apartment. You can request the service by sending us an e-mail including your flight details.

From Leonardo da Vinci - Fiumicino airport

Take the train to Termini railway station and then take the 64 bus towards S. Pietro (St. Peter’s church). Alight after 9 stops at Corso Vittorio/Sant’Andrea della Valle bus stop. Cross the road and take Via dei Baullari.

From Ciampino airport

Take the CO.TRA.L. service from the Arrivals bus station to "Anagnina" underground station and then the underground train to Roma Termini railways station. Here take the 64 bus towards S. Pietro (St. Peter’s church) and alight after 9 stops at Corso Vittorio/Sant’Andrea della Valle bus stop. Cross the road and take Via dei Baullari.
