The Jazz House is an apartment of 45 square metres facing the quiet and bright interior courtyard of the building complex. It is located on the third floor of a building from the 19th century with an elevator. The building has been carved out of an old convent.
The apartment has been recently renovated and furnished ex-novo. The modern grey parquet floor and the vaulted ceiling in Roman tiles, illuminated by LED lights, render the ambience welcoming and elegant at the same time.
The living room is furnished with a functional fiery red kitchen, which includes a microwave, fridge, dishwasher, freezer, a glass dining table with 5 chairs in faux leather, a comfortable sofa bed and a flat screen TV on the wall.
The ambience is further enriched by posters and displaying some of the main protagonists and places of Jazz, which will lead the guest into the magical musical atmosphere from back then. The living room is completed by its most characteristic corner: a shelf with a gramophone in nut wood with a distinctive trumpet, manually operated with a lever. You can turn back in time and listen to the music from the golden years of the African American culture on authentic Bakelite discs from back then.
A vestibule with a comfortable wall closet and a washing machine lead to the two bedrooms, which are small but functional. There are a single and a double bedroom, the latter furnished with a bed with useful container space underneath, and a TV. Both bedrooms are furnished and illuminated with elegant retro-lighted pictures. In keeping with the style and theme of the entire apartment, these show scenes of the Jazz era as well.
In the bathroom there is a comfortable shower with a glass door. There is air conditioning in the apartment in all areas and free WI-FI Internet connection.
Even though the surface area is rather small, every small space has been used in order to render the apartment as comfortable as possible and to offer our guests an intimate and welcoming atmosphere.
