In the area around the apartment

The apartment is located in a 16th century building in Via del Governo Vecchio, just 5 minutes from Piazza Navona and Campo de' Fiori. Via del Governo Vecchio is a street previously known as Via Papalis as it was included in the route taken by the processions which led from Saint Peter’s church to the church of Saint John Lateran. Lined with both smart Renaissance palazzos and simple town houses from the same period, the street is lined with a mixture of vintage shops, bric-à-brac stores, famous restaurants and street cafes with open air tables.

The delightful position of this apartment, which looks out onto Via del Governo Vecchio, just 50 metres from Piazza Navona, means that many of Rome’s most famous places of interest - the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, Piazza Venezia, the Roman Forum, Campo de Fiori, Castel Sant’Angelo and the Vatican – are little more than just a short walk away.
